$130,000 Recovery Following Motorcycle Accident

At approximately 4:25 p.m., on a clear afternoon, our client was traveling down Bel Air Road near Gunpowder Falls on his motorcycle. Our client was traveling in the right lane when he noticed a Black Jeep Wrangler in front of him driving erratically. The Jeep Wrangler was tapping its brakes unnecessarily and failing to maintain a steady/safe lane position. As a precaution, our client merged into the left lane and began to pass the Jeep Wrangler when, suddenly, without any indication, the Jeep Wrangler veered into the left lane cutting off our client. In response to the sudden lane shift, our client merged his motorcycle back to the right lane to avoid a collision. At this point, the Jeep Wrangler veered back to the right lane again, and it became clear that the Jeep Wrangler was not accidentally changing lanes. Our client again swerved back to the left lane to avoid hitting the Jeep Wrangler. When the Jeep Wrangler shot back to the left lane for the second time, our client was forced to drive straight into the median causing him to fly from his motorcycle traveling 50mph.

JPB Law secured a recovery of One Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($130,000.00) for our client that included policy limits under the Jeep Wrangler’s insurance policy plus policy limits under our client’s own Enhanced Underinsured Motorist Coverage (EUIM).
